Genentech licence Scorpion software for use in early stage targeted drug design.  Scorpion is DesertSci's innovative new approach that models protein-ligand complexes as small world networks.  Scorpion goes beyond the pair-wise additive view of protein ligand interactions to incorporate additional interactions forming a 'network.'  These networks help to stabilise the protein ligand complex and provide powerful new insights into protein-ligand binding.
